The FIFA training compensation differs fundamentally from the solidarity mechanism - it is completely independent of the transfer sum and has pure compensation characteristics.
According to FIFA, training compensation is due:
I. When the player is registered for the first time as a professional player or
ii. (Before or after expiry of his contract), which does not belong to the same associations, with the registration or transfer being made before the end of the season in which the player becomes 23 years old.
In the case of a subsequent change as a professional player, a new club is only to be paid for the training of the sponsoring club. This rule leads to the fact that often the first trainee clubs often forget their claims.
